Native American Kennels

Thank You for your interest in the Native American Village Dog. This is a breed in process and has been developed to offer an alternative to the Native American Indian Dog. The Native American Village Dog will be very similar to the Native American Indian Dog in many ways. The only difference is that the foundational stock will be of my own chosen lines and not Majestic Views, with the exception of Zakai my foundation stud from Majestic View.

In breeding the Village Dogs, I have chosen to integrate into the bloodlines more German Shepherd and Siberian Husky. Both of these breeds are already present in the Native American Indian Dogs. If you check the foundational stock used by M.V. Kennels you will see that she used these breeds to build her line. By doing this, We are striving to provide a well rounded dog that offers the wonderful attributes of all the represented breeds. Our goal is to offer a dog that is stable, highly intelligent, trainable and one that will give their new family many years of joy, love and companionship.

Native American Kennels will always strive to provide well socialized and healthy pups that have great temperaments, but as with any breed their personalities will differ. Be aware that although these dogs are typically good with people who have asthma or allergies to dogs, it does not guarantee, with 100% accuracy, that everyone will be able to own them. There have been people who, if extremely sensitive, react to Maltese, Yorkshire Terriers, Poodles and Shitzu dogs who are known to be the best for those with dog allergies.

The combination between Zakai and Tehya, Bandit and Namida, Bandit and Shyanne have been found to be HYPOALLERGENIC and can be owned by most people who are allergic to other breeds of dogs or who suffer from asthma. Because they produce less dander than other dogs, this benefits those who are usually sensitive. Molly and China’s offspring appear to have hypoallergenic qualities as well. There have been some very mild reactions but for the most part they have been very well tolerated.

The best way to check for sensitivity is to expose yourself to the dogs themselves. Getting a hair sample is a secondary way, if you are not close enough to visit in person.

It is imperative that you request a hair sample in order to check for allergy or asthma sensitivity in you or someone else in your household. When contacting  just note in your email or when speaking with me that you need me to send a hair sample and make sure you provide you address so I know where to send it. You can also ask to see if there is a NAVD in your area that you can personally visit. You may schedule an appointment to visit the kennel if you are in or planning to be in the area. Please do not just drop by as I need to schedule time to meet with you. I do work outside the home as well, and have a daily routine that is followed and I may not have time to spend with you if you were to just drop by. (KENNEL VISITS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY!).

All dogs/pups are sold under a spay/neuter contact unless purchasing for breeding rights. All dogs are sold under a first come/first serve basis. Those who place deposits have first choice and each person interested will be put in the order the deposits are received. All dogs/pups are registerable with the NAPDR. (Northern American Purebred Dog Registry)

My goal is to find forever homes for the puppies with people who want a dog for life or who have special needs for a dog who is hypoallergenic. NO DOG OR PUPPY, WHETHER MINE OR SOMEONE ELSES  SHOULD EVER BE CONSIDERED AS A DISPOSABLE ITEM, EVER!  Please don’t purchase a dog from any breeder if you are not fully committed to raising, training, caring, enduring the puppy stage and housing it for it’s entire life.
